About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Area Sales Representative to join our growing team in the flooring sector. You will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with builders’ merchants, flooring retailers, and buying groups, promoting our full range of flooring solutions including Wood flooring, SPC flooring, Wall panels, and accessories. We want an order maker not an order taker. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, a strong ability to build long-term partnerships, and the drive to deliver growth within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage sales within the assigned territory, achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with Builders merchants, Flooring retailers, KBB retailers and buying groups.
  • Present and promote the company’s portfolio of products including Wood flooring, SPC flooring, Wall panels, and Accessories.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities while nurturing existing accounts.
  • Deliver product knowledge sessions, demonstrations, and merchandising support where required.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to provide feedback for business growth.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and account plans.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service and follow-up throughout the sales process.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven field sales experience, ideally within the Flooring, construction, or building materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the Retail, Merchant, and Buying group sales channels.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into tailored product solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
