Overview
The role: Waiter/Waitress, Hotel du Vin Winchester. Up to Β£13.10 Inc. TRONC β 25 Hours Per Week Fixed Term Contract, Part Time. The role is based in Winchester at a historic hotel offering a 24-bedroom hotel, a 64-seat Bistro & Bar, and 1 private event space (seating up to 50).
The first Hotel du Vin opened in 1994 in Winchester. The building is Queen Anne-style and located in a historic city with the South Downs nearby. This is a customer-facing role where you will be the face of the restaurant and work to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Be the face of the restaurant and help control the dining flow.
- Communicate with the Kitchen and restaurant management to ensure a smooth, controlled dining experience for guests.
- Work across a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends; flexibility is appreciated.
- Support internal development and progression opportunities within the brand.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in hospitality/food and beverage is preferred but not required for entry level roles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shift patterns.
