Opened 2007 with 130 bedrooms, a 120-seater Bar & Grill, and 6 private event spaces - the largest seats up to 100. About The Role: Meeting & Events Manager (Maternity Cover 12 months) – £35,020 / 45 hours Fixed term 12 month contract at Malmaison Liverpool. As Meeting & Events Manager, you will build and develop strong relationships with our guests. By managing client accounts, revenue generation, local PR, and marketing, you are the face and voice of the brand. Responsible for the sales of all meeting rooms and conference space plus weddings, you will be primarily office-based Monday to Friday with some weekend work as the business requires. You will manage the external and internal sales function, generate new business, and maintain existing account revenues. You will be expected to work in a team and liaise with other Heads of Department and the General Manager regarding promotions, events, and regular guests. Passion for sales is a must, as are excellent communication skills, being a team player, and being driven by enthusiasm and personality. Experience within a hospitality background is beneficial, but Meeting & Events Sales Managers must have a passion for hospitality and the way we deliver service with a smile.
