Kitchen Porter role at Malmaison in Edinburgh, Scotland. Join us to take advantage of an OTE up to £13.50 per hour, inclusive of tronc, on a 30 hour flexible week. This is a permanent, flexible role that offers Immediate Starts.

About the Location: Opened 2008. 47 Bedrooms. 75‑seater Bistro & Bar. 4 Private Event Spaces – seating up to 30. Edinburgh's beauty is staggering, with a diverse skyline, cobbled streets and colourful history. The building, built in 1743, sits just off the bustling Royal Mile in the Old Town, between Edinburgh’s iconic castle and Holyrood Palace.

About The Role: As a Kitchen Porter you will be responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen and staff areas. You will assist the kitchen brigade by ensuring that the kitchen maintains a high level of cleanliness at all times and manage the pot and plate wash areas. It can be a demanding job, but the rewards are worth it. This is a great opportunity to join the kitchen team, learn the ropes, and understand the kitchen from the ground up. This role could be the next step towards a Chef position – we actively encourage internal development and offer Apprenticeships to dedicated employees.
