We are looking for a Reservation Agent to join the team here at Fraser Suites in Doha. As a Reservation Agent, you will be recording and processing all reservation inquiries made by phone, fax or email efficiently and accurately and convert sales enquiries where possible to meet hotel targets.
What you will be doing as a Reservation Agent:
- Provides a full range of administrative, clerical and office support including, but not limited to:
- Work closely with the FOM and DOSM in rate setting for all periods.
- Collate all hotel reports relating to any reservation or sales tracking as designated by DOSM and GM.
- Ensure that this information is reviewed more analytically with the entire sales team and thus creating a culture of accountability and responsibility for all team members.
- Maintain overall responsibility of reservations; however, ensure Reservations Supervisor runs the day-to-day operations of the department.
- Work closely with the FOM & Reservations Supervisor to manage the manning within the department in order to maximise sales and in accordance with the budgets.
- Maximise the productivity of the department through ongoing training and development programs; ensure mystery calls are conducted to monitor our sales and reservations conversion.
- Actively take reservation enquiries when needed.
- Be involved in all yield and Revmax meetings as designated.
- Ensure minutes are followed up where issues are related to conversion of room night potential.
- Follow up on all Groups, Blocks, Allotments, and room list with Reservation Supervisor and Groups Co-ordinator.
- Liase with Credit Manager in relation to requests for Credit.
- Control the loading of all rates into Radisson’s harmony Database and hotels PMS. When appropriate, train Reservations Supervisor to complete task.
- Ensure all complaints through HDBM are actioned within 24 hours.
