About the Location
With stunning Regency architecture and beautifully manicured gardens, Cheltenham is made up of many unique districts. A quintessentially English spa town full of character, Cheltenham is still living up to its billing 200 years later and the hotel is just a short stroll from the town's fashionable shopping street, The Promenade, in the chic Montpellier district.
About The Role
As Cluster Sales Manager across both hotels, you will drive the Hotel Commercial Action Plans. Reporting into the Regional Director of Sales and the Cluster General Manager, you will ensure that both brands are represented in the local market and national arena whilst actively looking for new opportunities and cross selling all hotels within Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin.
You will manage and lead the enquiry process and drive the sales pipeline in all segments of the business from corporate groups to Food and Beverage activations, working closely with our meetings events team and the wider commercial teams across the estate. You will head up our new sales incentive programme for your hotel teams, working to ensure a sales culture is alive in the business and that communication within the departments and across the two hotels is implemented with maximum efficiency.
Most importantly, you will have the skills to develop strong relationships with your key clients and our guests within the hotels. You will be a self-starter, organised and able to prioritise actions whilst managing tasks through to completion. Excellent communication skills in both verbal and oral are essential as is confidence in presenting to senior decision makers in other businesses. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial as would a working knowledge of the Hotel industry.
