Opened in 1997, the hotel features 122 bedrooms, an 80-seater Bar & Grill, and 4 private event spaces, the largest of which seats up to 80. The hotel also includes a spa with 4 treatment rooms, a relaxation area, manicure & pedicure stations, and a sauna.
About the Role
As a Housekeeper at Malmaison Newcastle, you will work part-time (15 hours per week) at a rate of £12.97 per hour. You will be responsible for ensuring all guest bedrooms are cleaned daily, requiring an eye for detail and high standards. Conversational English is essential, as you will interact with guests. You will predominantly work set shifts, 5 days out of seven, starting at either 9 or 10 am, with some flexibility required during peak times.
This role requires a level of fitness, and full training in the use of chemicals and equipment will be provided. Experience in a similar role is not required, but a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference are essential. There are opportunities for internal development and progression, including an apprenticeship scheme after the probationary period.
