Opened in 2014, the hotel features 91 bedrooms, a 100-seater Bar & Grill, and 6 private event spaces, with the largest seating up to 160. Located in the city centre, across from the mainline station and tourist attractions, the stunning Victorian building retains its original features from 1899. Enviably located on Dundee's Waterfront along the River Tay, with views of Discovery Point and Captain Scott’s RRS Discovery.

About the Role

As part of the Housekeeping team, you will ensure all public areas within the hotel are cleaned daily. You will have an eye for detail and naturally high standards. Working as a Cleaner, you will interact with our guests, so conversational English is essential, as is the ability to work independently for periods of time. You will predominantly work set shifts, 5 days out of seven, starting at either 9 or 10 am, with some flexibility required during peak trading times.

Cleaning is hard work and requires a level of fitness. Full training in the use of chemicals and equipment will be provided. Experience in a similar role isn't required, but a positive attitude and desire to make a difference within the hotel is essential. We actively encourage internal development and progression, with opportunities to enroll in our apprenticeship scheme after completing the probationary period.
