Set in the heart of the stunning Clifton Village, overlooking the iconic Avon Gorge, Hotel du Vin Avon Gorge is preparing for one of the busiest and most rewarding times of the year, and we're looking for a talented Banqueting Chef to lead the kitchen operation for our festive events programme. From glamorous Christmas party nights and elegant winter weddings to corporate lunches, private dining experiences, celebrations and seasonal dinners, you'll take ownership of the banqueting kitchen during a packed calendar of events. No two days will be the same, and you'll play a key role in delivering memorable food experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.
Working alongside an experienced hotel team, you'll be responsible for planning, organising and leading the banqueting kitchen operation, ensuring consistently high standards across a wide variety of functions. Whether it's a three-course Christmas dinner, an intimate private dining event or a corporate celebration, you'll thrive on delivering great food in a fast-paced environment.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Banqueting Chef, Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie within a hotel or events environment
- Strong experience delivering weddings, private dining, Christmas parties and corporate events
- Ability to lead a kitchen team during busy service periods
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A passion for fresh food and consistently high standards
- Someone who enjoys the buzz and variety that comes with hotel banqueting
