Night Porter, Malmaison. Rate of Pay 12.65. Type of contract: Non-supervisory. Location: Birmingham, England.
The Night Porter is instrumental in overseeing the running of the hotel from sundown to sunrise. This is a hands-on role managing guest expectations and ensuring the standards of the brand are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the hotel\’s operations during night hours and manage the Food & Beverage Department when on duty.
- Welcome guests in a friendly and helpful manner; ensure public areas are clean and spaces for meetings and events are prepared for the next day.
- Assist guests with luggage, handle inquiries, and carry out nightly Health & Safety audits.
- Be organized and an excellent communicator.
Qualifications
- Experience of working in a similar role is beneficial.
- Experience of night shift work is essential.
- Availability to work a range of shifts and days; flexibility discussed at interview.
