An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant with a solid technical background to join the Frasers Property UK finance team and be responsible for corporate reporting and act as a valued business partner to corporate budget holders. The Finance Business Partner will be an integral member of the Finance team and a key contributor in producing corporate reporting and budgets for the UK team. The role provides variety and the opportunity to add value through business partnering with the corporate budget holders. The role also involves reviewing overheads and costs, cash flow analysis, payroll and supporting corporate projects. It is an exciting time to join the team as we are looking to implement ‘best in class’ processes and systems.
What you’ll be doing as a Finance Business Partner:
- Partner with budget holders to understand business strategy and provide clear, actionable insight into performance.
- Own corporate budgeting, forecasting and milestone delivery in line with the planning and forecasting calendar.
- Produce monthly management reporting packs, including variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders.
- Lead submission of monthly reporting and consolidation packs to Group HQ (Singapore), ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance.
- Manage key overhead cost lines (e.g., rent, service charges and other central costs) and support robust cost control.
- Complete monthly payroll journal activities, including reconciliation and posting.
- Perform ongoing cash flow analysis to support decision-making and forward planning.
- Maintain IFRS 16 lease accounting models, reflecting changes to lease arrangements and terms.
- Maintain strong financial controls and governance (e.g., posting periods, user access, system change requests) within a listed-company environment.
- Support statutory accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal/external audit deliverables across the UK group.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified accountant with post-qualified experience in a similar role.
- A strong technical background with experience of management accounting/financial reporting.
- Experience of the property/ real estate sector would be beneficial.
- Advanced Excel skills with confidence handling large, complex spreadsheets.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity - able to map processes and build/introduce new ways of working from scratch.
- Strong grounding in financial accounting and management accounting methodologies.
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confident stakeholder manager with excellent interpersonal skills (internal and external).
- Strong team player who takes ownership of workstreams and can work independently.
- SAP knowledge is preferable.
- Continuous process improvement mindset.
