We’re pioneers of the modern metropolitan townhouse hotel, with an emphasis on chic, high quality bedrooms. Food and drink are central to the character of each Malmaison hotel; our bars and brasseries are popular destinations within their local areas. Each hotel is a unique transformation of a historic building, designed with a bold, adventurous vision of luxurious hospitality.
Malmaison offers something different to the usual hotel bar and our guests expect a high standard of banter, knowledge and entertainment when grabbing a drink whether it be a quick one (or two) after work, before a night out.
You as Bar Manager will be a hands on operator who using your knowledge and experience will motivate, educate and inspire your team to deliver the best guest experience. You will have similar Bar Manager experience and with of worked within high profile bars. You will be used to high volume and delivering high standards whilst working under pressure.
We hold internal Cocktail Competitions where you or a member of your team will win the opportunity to showcase your cocktails by adding to the eclectic drinks menu and we encourage our Bar Teams to embrace the latest drinks trends.
There is a daily and weekly paperwork to complete, but you will be used to working with Stock Control systems and writing Rotas to a budget so this won\’t phase you, everything else can be taught on the job.
