Join us and get paid for doing what you love, enjoy loads of perks and benefits, learn new skills, and build a career for life with Hotel du Vin.
At Hotel du Vin, fifty percent of all revenue comes from catering sales. In many of our hotels, we can be busier in our bistros than most local restaurants! This provides our chef teams a great opportunity to develop their skills within our kitchens—learning new techniques, working in fast-paced environments, and handling ingredients they may not have previously worked with.
We offer on-the-job training in-house and collaborate with our training provider to offer nationally recognized apprenticeships. If you wish to advance your career, an HDV kitchen is the place to do it. Four of our Head Chefs have been promoted from within, with two starting their journey as kitchen porters.
As a Senior Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef by ensuring the team delivers brand standards smoothly and consistently. Ideally, you will have previous experience at this level and be capable of demonstrating your skills in team development.
Are you looking to be part of something different, working with the best food and drink, and representing a brand you can be proud of?
We create unforgettable memories for our guests. This could be your next step into a Head Chef role—we actively encourage internal development and progression. Onwards and upwards!
