Overview

Room Attendant – Hotel Du Vin Exeter

Working as part of the Housekeeping team you will ensure all guest bedrooms within the hotel are cleaned on a daily basis to the highest of standards. You will have an eye for detail and naturally high standards to meet our guests expectations of a perfect night’s stay. Hotel Du Vin provides a range of luxury and boutique hotels in 18 landmark locations around the United Kingdom, offering exquisite accommodation with a relaxing atmosphere and sumptuous food and wine in our Bistros.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all guest bedrooms daily to the highest standards.
• Interact with guests; maintain conversational English as part of guest service.
• Work independently for periods of time as needed and be a vital part of the hotel operation to ensure bedrooms are ready for guest arrival and continued stays.
• Follow training on the use of chemicals and equipment; complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role isn’t required, but a positive attitude and desire to make a difference within the hotel is essential.
• Good conversational English is essential for guest interactions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; shifts typically between 9am – 3pm, 5 days out of 7, with potential variations discussed at interview.
• Fitness to perform the duties of a Room Attendant; full training will be provided.
• Opportunity to enroll in the apprenticeship scheme after probation, with internal development and progression encouraged.

Additional Details

Shift start times can be flexible between 9am – 10am. If desired, earlier start times can be discussed at interview, along with flexible contracts or weekend work.
