Head Host, Malmaison, York - SORA Sky Bar
Rate of Pay / Hours: £13.29 per hour + Tronc. 35 hours a week minimum.
Contract: Permanent
Location: SORA Sky Bar, Malmaison York

Think luxurious and comfortable loungers, lanterns, beautiful trees, Champagne, cocktails and food platters. Then add the stunning views of York Minster, while watching the sunset and you’ll have the perfect working environment.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, bubbly, organised and meticulous individuals, with excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the flow of guests into SORA to optimise their experience and make effective use of the space.
- Communicate and handle guest enquiries via telephone, email and face to face.
- Liaise with the Front Office team and SORA management to ensure each shift is a success.
Qualifications
- Experience leading a team of hosts.
- Experience delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience in high volume bars and restaurants (serving 800+ guests a day).
