Located in Berkshire, our operations are notable for their focus on in-house design and manufacturing. This vertical integration means we control the production of most aircraft components on-site, enhancing our ability to innovate and maintain high standards across all stages of development.

About The Role: Malloy Aeronautics is looking for a manual machinist to support continued company growth via our small machine shop. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Machinist to join our team. Ability to hold Security Clearance – 5 years residence in the UK.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Set up and operate manual mills, lathe and supporting equipment to produce precision parts and assemblies to drawing.
  • Perform turning, milling, and other machining operations on a variety of materials including metals and plastics.
  • Ensure that all machined parts meet the required specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
  • Prioritize and schedule work according to deadlines, ensuring effective use of machine time and efficient workflow.
  • Experience of MiG / arc welding of simple assemblies.

Essential Skills and Experiences:

  • Proven experience in machining, including manual milling and turning.
  • Good working knowledge of materials, tools, and machining processes.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in a machining environment.
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to manage time and schedules effectively.
