About the Role
Malloy Aeronautics is looking for a manual machinist to support continued company growth via our small machine shop. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Machinist to join our team. Ability to hold Security Clearance - 5 years residence in the UK.
What you’ll be doing:
- Set up and operate manual mills, lathe and supporting equipment to produce precision parts and assemblies to drawing.
- Perform turning, milling, and other machining operations on a variety of materials including metals and plastics.
- Ensure that all machined parts meet the required specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Prioritize and schedule work according to deadlines, ensuring effective use of machine time and efficient workflow.
- Experience of MiG / arc welding of simple assemblies.
Essential Skills and Experiences:
- Proven experience in machining, including manual milling and turning.
- Good working knowledge of materials, tools, and machining processes.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a machining environment.
- Self‑motivated and reliable, with the ability to manage time and schedules effectively.

- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working order.
