Role Description
The Quality Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Tonyrefail, responsible for overseeing all aspects of product quality and compliance.
This role manages quality control and quality assurance processes across the blending, bottling, and packaging operations, ensuring adherence to BRCGS and other relevant industry standards.
Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining quality policies, leading audits, investigating non-conformances, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
The Quality Manager collaborates closely with production, operations, and supply chain teams to monitor performance, conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
This position also involves training team members on quality procedures, maintaining our quality management system and supporting customer and regulatory inquiries related to product quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Strong background in quality management, including quality assurance, quality control, and continuous improvement within food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing.
- Experience with regulatory and industry standards such as BRCGS, HACCP, food safety regulations, retailer standards and audit preparation and management.
- Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and root cause analysis to identify trends, manage non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
- Skilled in documentation, process mapping, and development of standard operating procedures and quality policies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and provide training on quality practices.
- Experience working in high-speed production environments and familiarity with bottling or beverages manufacturing processes is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail under time constraints.
