You will play a pivotal role within the Residential Conveyancing department, supporting a diverse client base and progressing your professional development.
Key Responsibilities in Residential Property Law- Managing your own caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, shared ownership, remortgage, right to buy, and new build matters.
- Drafting and reviewing property-related legal documentation and contracts.
- Completing property due diligence, title reviews, and conducting searches, preparing clear reports for clients as required.
- Liaising directly with clients, colleagues, estate agents, lenders, and other professionals to ensure efficient transaction progress.
- Overseeing post-completion work such as registrations, SDLT submissions, and maintaining compliance records.
- Maintaining full compliance with all legal, regulatory, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures and requirements.
- Minimum of five years’ PQE experience in residential property.
- Strong working knowledge of current residential conveyancing law and practice.
- Excellent client service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrable drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in legal case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work both collaboratively within a busy team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility and adaptability in managing a varied and dynamic workload.
