Our client is looking to appoint a driven, dedicated, and experienced conveyancer to play a key role within their Residential Property team, supporting a diverse client caseload.

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000; Hours: 09:00am to 5:00pm, 3 days working from home, Permanent Role

Residential Property Solicitor Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions including sales, purchase, transfer of equity, shared ownership, remortgage, auction, right to buy, off plan/new build.
  • Drafting, reviewing associated legal documentation
  • Conducting property due diligence, title reviews and searches, and preparing reports on findings
  • Liaising directly with clients, solicitors, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient transaction progression
  • Overseeing post-completion formalities including registrations, SDLT submissions, and file management
  • Ensuring all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and professional compliance requirements are fully met

Required Skills & Experience for Residential Property Law

  • At least three years\’ experience managing own caseload.
  • Solid understanding of current legislation and practice
  • Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Strong client care focus, with excellent relationship building skills
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice software
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a busy team and independently
