Our client is looking for a skilled and ambitious individual to join their dynamic Commercial Property team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant transactions, lease negotiations, portfolio management, and property finance.
  • Providing clear, practical legal advice to businesses, organisations, investors, developers, and landowners at every stage of their commercial property dealings.
  • Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, leases, licences, agreements for sale, and other real estate documentation ensuring compliance with current property law and industry regulations.
  • Conducting and reporting on title investigations, property searches, due diligence, and negotiating and responding to pre-contract enquiries efficiently and accurately.
  • Liaising confidently and professionally with clients, agents, lenders, surveyors, local authorities and other legal professionals to drive transactions forward.
  • Ensuring all files and client interactions are recorded and compliant with SRA, AML and GDPR requirements, using the firm’s case management systems.
  • Actively contributing to a collaborative team culture by sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and participating enthusiastically in departmental meetings and business development initiatives.
Key experience required:
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with NQ-3 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial property law, and the ability to manage your own caseload independently.
  • Comprehensive and current knowledge of commercial property transactions, commercial leases, property investment, and development projects.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with excellent attention to detail in producing and reviewing complex legal documents.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building long-term trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work well autonomously and as part of a team, and deliver work within deadlines.
