Our client, a large and established Manchester law firm specialising in Personal Injury and other areas of civil litigation, are seeking to add a further two Legal PAs to their Business Support department. As the firm grows, the need to ensure the support functions operate efficiently, grows with it. Due to an increased number of solicitors to the business this year, following successful expansion, they seek to ensure that the teams run efficiently and have the appropriate level of administrative and general support. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop, grow and progress within administration and business support. It is also a great opportunity to develop within a growing firm, with interesting work, scope to develop and lots of employee benefits too.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to one or more solicitors/partners including dictation and drafting.
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents.
- Schedule appointments, internal meetings, and diarise court/external meetings.
- Communicate with clients as instructed.
- Assist with trial preparation and document management/drafting.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Manage solicitor deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or in a similar role (legal admin/support).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
