We are seeking a creative and commercially minded Social Media Executive \& Content Creator to join our team.

This varied role offers the opportunity to develop and deliver engaging social media content, on Instagram \& Tik Tok, strengthen brand awareness and support marketing objectives across multiple digital channels.

The successful candidate will combine excellent content creation skills with a strong understanding of social media platforms, audience engagement and digital marketing.

They will plan and produce high-quality written, visual and video content while monitoring performance, identifying opportunities and maintaining a consistent brand voice.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging social media content plans across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Eurostaffs, Tik Tok and other relevant channels.
  • Create, edit and publish high-quality written, photographic, graphic and video content that reflects the organisation’s brand, services and values.
  • Manage social media accounts on a day-to-day basis, including scheduling posts, monitoring comments and messages, responding appropriately and escalating issues where required.
  • Write compelling captions, articles, website copy, email content and other marketing materials tailored to different audiences and communication channels.
  • Develop creative concepts for campaigns, reels, stories, short-form videos, interviews, behind-the-scenes content and other digital marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate the social media calendar, ensuring content is timely, accurate, consistent and aligned with wider marketing activity, events and business priorities.
  • Work with colleagues and external contacts to gather information, source stories, arrange content opportunities and obtain appropriate permissions for images, video and other materials.
  • Research social media trends, audience behaviour, competitor activity and emerging content formats, recommending practical opportunities for growth and engagement.
  • Monitor and report on social media performance using relevant analytics tools, tracking reach, engagement, audience growth, website traffic and campaign results.
  • Use performance insights to refine content, improve channel effectiveness and support the delivery of measurable marketing objectives.
  • Maintain accurate digital assets, content libraries, brand templates and publishing records in accordance with organisational procedures.
  • Ensure all content complies with brand guidelines, copyright requirements, advertising standards, data protection obligations and applicable platform policies.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, communications and wider teams to support campaigns, events, recruitment activity, business development and internal communications.
  • Key skills and experience
  • Previous experience in a social media, digital marketing, communications or content creation role.
  • Demonstrable experience creating and managing content for social media platforms, including written content, photography, graphics and short-form video.
  • Strong knowledge of social media channels, publishing tools, content scheduling and audience engagement techniques.
  • Excellent copywriting, proofreading and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences.
  • Experience using content creation and design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Cap Cut or comparable software.
  • Good understanding of social media analytics, reporting and the use of performance data to improve content and campaigns.
  • Creative, organised and commercially aware, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Confident communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
  • Knowledge of brand management, digital marketing principles, copyright, data protection and relevant advertising standards would be advantageous.
