My client, based in the London area, are seeking to hire a Residential Property Solicitor to join a busy and well-established residential property team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters. This is a client-facing role offering exposure to a broad range of transactions within a supportive firm that values professional development, collaborative working and high standards of service. Salary £100,000+

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and assist with all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions
  • Conduct title checks, property searches, and due diligence.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate case records, documentation, and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide administrative and legal support to partners and fee earners across the property department.
  • Assist in post-completion matters, including registration and stamp duty submissions.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Qualified solicitor, minimum 5 years PQE proven experience in residential conveyancing, running a varied caseload independently.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and advise on title and search issues and take appropriate steps to mitigate risk.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and build professional relationships with third parties.
  • Proactive, commercially aware and client-focused, with a willingness to contribute to process improvement and business development.
