We’re looking for a commercially minded Chief Technology & Digital Officer to lead and evolve a mature technology stack while accelerating digital enablement across the organisation. This is a c-suite-level role for a senior technology leader who sees technology first and foremost as a business enabler — someone who can ensure the reliable, secure operation of core IT services while using modern digital capabilities to amplify the organisation’s purpose, performance and impact.
The opportunity: You will have dual accountability: running a resilient, high-performing IT infrastructure that underpins day-to-day operations, and leading a forward-looking digital enablement function that drives transformation, efficiency and insight across the business. This role blends operational excellence with strategic change. You’ll translate business priorities into practical technology solutions, ensuring that platforms, data and digital tools actively support how the organisation delivers value today — and how it evolves for tomorrow.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the technology and digital enablement strategy aligned to business goals and long-term purpose.
- Driving digital transformation through modern platforms, cloud technologies, automation and data-led insight.
- Owning and operating the organisation’s core IT infrastructure, ensuring availability, security, performance and resilience.
- Ensuring technology enables core business operations, decision-making and service delivery at scale.
- Overseeing enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, information governance and risk management.
- Leading complex change programmes that redesign processes and ways of working through technology.
- Balancing innovation with operational stability, ensuring change does not compromise core services.
- Leading, developing and inspiring high-performing technology and digital teams.
- Managing technology investment, budgets, vendors and strategic partners.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to the executive team on how technology can unlock business value.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role (CTO, CIO, CDIO, CDO or equivalent).
- Strong track record of running enterprise IT operations alongside digital transformation programmes.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, modern architecture, data and cybersecurity.
- Experience positioning technology as an enabler of core business outcomes, not a standalone function.
- Executive-level influence, with the credibility to challenge and guide senior stakeholders.
- Ability to balance operational reliability with pace, innovation and change.
- Experience operating in complex, regulated or data-sensitive environments.
- A pragmatic, collaborative leader who combines strategic vision with delivery discipline.
Why this role? An opportunity to shape both the operational backbone and digital future of the organisation. Executive-level influence with genuine accountability and autonomy. Technology leadership that is central to business purpose and performance. High-impact role with visibility across the entire organization. Making things happen through strategic foresight and collaborative challenge.
