About the Role

We\'re looking for a Junior Footwear Designer to join our London based design team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a hands-on, creative role focused primarily on the Women’s collection, including sneakers, boots and formals with additional support across the Men’s sneaker range.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of two seasonal Women’s collections per year, covering sneakers, formals and boots.
  • Assist in designing and developing Men’s sneakers, working closely with the Head of Design.
  • Conduct trend, colour, and material research to inform seasonal concepts and new product ideas.
  • Create detailed design packs including sketches, CADs, specs and material direction.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers through the development process, ensuring products are delivered to brief and to brand standard.
  • Support fit sessions, sample reviews and sign-offs.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams including product development, wholesale and e-commerce to ensure alignment across the business.

Qualifications

  • Ideally 2+ year of experience in a footwear design role (internship or full-time).

Required Skills

  • Strong portfolio showing Women’s sneaker and/or fashion footwear designs, including sketch work and final concepts.
  • Confident in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; 3D design software is a plus but not required.
  • Good understanding of materials, constructions, and sneaker silhouettes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
  • Positive, collaborative and proactive with a genuine passion for footwear and fashion.

Pay range and compensation package

  • £35,000 to £40,000 p.a. (12-month Fixed-Term Contract)
  • Hybrid working: 2–3 days per week in our central London HQ
