The predicted salary is between 27900 - 34100 Β£ per year.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processing and filing high volume of purchase invoices
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Processing of payment runs
  • Responding to purchase ledger enquiries in a timely manner
  • Assisting with purchase ledger month end
  • Matching of invoices to purchase orders
  • Ensuring invoices are signed off and filed correctly
  • Complete new supplier set up process
  • Any other relevant purchase ledger duties or administration duties as and when required
  • Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system
  • Adherence to company health and safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and tidy works area

Experience & Training

  • Previous experience working with purchase ledger
  • Previous experience with Trade Finance
  • Experience in a computerised Accounts Office / use of accounting software packages
  • MS Excel
  • Qualified/ Part-qualified, studying towards a recognised Accountancy body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)

  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft software Inc. Excel, Word and Office

  • Identify opportunities to improve product performance, reliability and sustainability
  • Develop, set and monitor KPI's related to delivery, quality, efficiency and cost

Role Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Significant experience in electrical engineering designing heavy equipment, vehicle or mobile machinery systems within a manufacturing or OEM environment
  • 7 plus years demonstrated leadership experience within engineering department
  • Strong experience using 2D and 3D CAD platforms (e.g. EPlan, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, DraftSight or similar) and engineering documentation control
  • Knowledgeable understanding of manufacturing processes, complex system design, electrical integration, machine operation and control
  • Experience managing engineering projects across the full product development lifecycle
  • Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with regulated engineering environments and safety standards
  • Experience implementing engineering process improvements or design standardisation initiatives
