Overview and Purpose of Role

As Electrical Engineering Manager you will play a fundamental part in leading the Electrical Engineering Team by providing technical guidance, managing project deliverables and overseeing team performance to ensure that all tasks are completed within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.

Role Requirements

  • Must have a degree (or equivalent) in electrical or electronic engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience of working and providing guidance and oversight within a dynamic engineering team
  • Working knowledge of drawing management systems such as Pulse/ SolidWorks PDM or similar
  • Experienced in creation and checking of 2D electrical schematics and use of industry recognised software to produce same, namely AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, EPLAN
  • Experience of PLC Software programming for machine control
  • Demonstrable people management, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Target-driven and proactive with a results-oriented mindset
