Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare products to a high standard ahead of the painting process.
- Carry out basic quality control checks.
- Maintain a clean and tidy works area and ensure the safe operation of machinery within your area.
- Prepare and mix paint and primers to the correct consistency before use.
- Application and finish of paint using air-assisted spraying equipment.
- Paint parts to a high quality.
- Work with single and 2 pack paint.
- Conduct daily maintenance checks of the spray gun and all paint equipment.
- Perform manual handling duties.
- Work in a team-based environment on a busy assembly line manufacturing ground support equipment.
- Work to set production targets and safely move production parts.
Role Requirements:
- Ideal candidates will have previous experience of working in an automotive workshop environment, but this is not essential.
- Candidates must have experience of spray painting, removing decals, and small touch-ups.
