Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will read and understand engineering drawings.
- Operating the Press brake machine to bend and shape metal to specification.
- Inspecting fresh sheet metal for any imperfections or quality issues.
- Monitor metal quality as it is being shaped and identify and report drawing errors.
- Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line.
- Adhering to strict quality targets.
- Unload components onto pallets and label correctly.
- Carry out routine maintenance and calibration of machines.
- Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations, Policies & Procedures.
- Any other duties as required by management to suit business needs.
- Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system.
- Adherence to company health and safety procedures.
Experience using press machine is essential.
SHIFTS: Monday - Thursday 6pm - 6am. 12 hour shifts. OT is paid at time & half after 41.5 hours. 20% Night Shift Allowance.
