The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

As an important member of the Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all components are fabricated accurately and timely to ensure products meet the build schedule and dispatch deadline. This position will also involve woodwork assembly, basic joinery work and working to basic drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Reading and understanding engineering drawings
  • Working with hand and power tools, panel saws etc
  • Working to set production targets
  • Ability to safely move production parts
  • Carry out routine maintenance and calibration of machines
  • Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations, Policies & Procedures.
  • Any other duties as required by management to suit business needs
  • Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system.
  • Adherence to company health and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy works area

Skills and Qualifications

  • Confident working with wood, maybe even possess some joinery skills.
  • Can work well on your own and as part of a team.
