The team at Malet Lambert School are looking for an individual who can provide efficient technical support to the Science Department, ensuring the safe use and development of practical resources. The working hours are from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am to 3:30pm Friday during the school term. You will work all year round. Your actual salary will be Β£25,183 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.

What are we looking for? We are looking for an individual to provide guidance and support in meeting the practical requirements of the science curriculum including liaising with outside organisations. To lead a team of science technicians, providing support and guidance and co-ordinating the work of the team. The successful applicant will have good literacy and numeracy skills, substantial experience working in a laboratory environment, strong knowledge of practical science techniques and equipment used in secondary school science lessons. Also to have a sound understanding of health and safety regulations, including COSHH, risk assessments, and safe chemical handling.
