Kitchen Assistant at Malet Lambert, Hull, East Yorkshire, HU8 0JD. This is a permanent part-time role (term time) with additional hours during school holidays for deep cleans and development training. The anticipated working pattern is Monday to Friday, with specific hours below.

Responsibilities

  • Catering, cleaning and site management
  • Prepare and provide high quality, nutritious food for students as part of the school catering team
  • Support the school’s catering operations and maintain hygiene and safety standards

Working pattern

Part-time, Term Time with additional hours during school holidays for deep cleans and/or training. Normal hours are 11:45am–1:45pm, Monday to Friday. You will also work an additional 10 hours during holidays.

Your actual salary will be £5,756.90 per annum, paid in 12 equal instalments.

What skills and experience we’re looking for

Previous experience of preparing food, preferably in a professional kitchen or catering environment, with a basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety.
