Your Job

  • Monitor standards of work to ensure the highest quality of guest service throughout the hotel.
  • Lead, support, train, and motivate the breakfast and Food & Beverage team.
  • Support the Senior Management Team in the strategic and operational running of the hotel.
  • Assist in achieving departmental targets in line with overall hotel objectives.
  • Support and oversee conferences, events, and daily operations to ensure excellence in service at all times.
  • Take responsibility for Duty Manager shifts, overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel and acting as the main point of contact for guests and staff.
  • Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health & safety procedures, and security standards.
  • Coordinate with all hotel departments to ensure effective communication and seamless guest experiences.
  • Ensure the restaurant and public areas are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Support the management team with opening/closing procedures, shift handovers, and emergency situations when required.

What You Will Need

  • Experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory role within a hotel environment.
  • Previous Duty Manager or supervisory hotel operations experience is desirable.
  • Experience in conferences and events is an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • Experience in training and developing team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High standards and attention to detail.
  • An excellent focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings.
