Reporting to the Meetings & Events Sales Manager, you will assist in maximizing the sales potential and support the achievement of the meetings and events sales targets for the hotel.

- Assist in generating inquiries for meetings and events as part of the sales team.
- Support the proactive and reactive sales efforts to help achieve revenue targets for meetings and events on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Help update the revenue board each week.
- Assist in managing the payment structure for events and participate in project management meetings.
- Contribute ideas to enhance revenue for the quarterly and annual sales and marketing plan.
- Assist in conducting site inspections of the property for prospective clients.
- Gather and manage feedback from clients, ensuring effective communication with other departments as needed.
- Support negotiations with clients to maximize revenue while meeting their needs.
- Assist in finalizing bookings and upselling where possible to enhance revenue potential.
- Participate in managing inquiries from third-party platforms as needed.
- Help with smaller conference bookings and assist in reviewing function sheets promptly each week.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous but not essential.
- An interest in sales and the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an excellent command of the English language.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to identify opportunities to support hotel revenue.
- Basic interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and develop.
