Maldon Partners have an urgent requirement for an experienced monitoring/generalist compliance professional to join an award-winning asset management firm on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. The role is initially being hired on a 6 month contract, however there may be scope for the right person to stay longer. The firm has an AUM of £25BN and approximately 80 people in the London Office. The role requires an experienced compliance generalist who is immediately available or on a maximum 2 week notice. Hybrid working 3 days in the office.
The Role: Reporting directly to the CCO and working in a small team of 3. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Best Execution and allocation monitoring
- PA Dealing
- Gifts and entertainment approval
- MAR (Market Abuse)
- EMIR Review
- AML
- Social Media Review
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 2 years working in a monitoring or generalist Compliance role (not AML/KYC) within financial services
- Educated to degree level
- Knowledge of fund structures - DESIRABLE
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good Microsoft skills (Excel and Word)
The 6 month FTC Compliance role has a base salary of c£55,000 - £60,000 pro rata depending on experience plus hybrid working.
