Associate Compliance Specialist - Maldon Partners

Maldon Partners Compliance and Risk are recruiting a Compliance Associate on an Initial 6m FTC basis for an award-winning asset management firm based in London.

The role is initially being hired on a 6month contract, however there may be scope for the right person to stay longer.

The firm has an AUM £25BN and c80ppl in the London Office.

The role requires an experienced compliance generalist who is immediately available or on a maximum 2 week notice.

Hybrid working 3 days in the office.

The Role:

Reporting Directly to the CCO and working in a small team of 3.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Best Ex and allocation monitoring
• PA Dealing
• Gifts and entertainment approval
• MAR (Market Abuse)
• EMIR Review
• AML
• Social Media Review

Experienced Required:

• A minimum of 2yrs working in a monitoring or generalist Compliance role (not aml/kyc) within financial services
• Educated to degree level
• Knowledge of fund structures – DESIRABLE
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good Microsoft skills (excel and word)

Salary:

The 6 month FTC Compliance role has a base salary of c£55,000 – £60,000 pro rata depending on experience plus hybrid working.
