The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This role provides remote and flexible working as well as working within the Council Offices. You will be required to work in the office 2 days a week. We offer flexibility and remote working, but please only apply if you’re able to work regularly from our office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Health Integration and Wellbeing strategies and partnerships, securing funding and maximising health assets across the district to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for residents.
  • Develop a strong understanding of National health strategies, the MSE NHS ICB, Mid Essex Alliance, Livewell partnership and the One Maldon District Partnership; manage relationships and understand health challenges and infrastructure to improve quality of life and health outcomes.
  • Provide strategic and hands-on leadership in enabling a whole system approach through communities of practice, manage a small team, and engage with a large network of partners, elected members and staff.
  • Forge partnerships, deliver health and wellbeing projects and utilise an Asset Based Community Development mindset to secure funding and deliver action plans.
  • Analyse health data, identify priorities and work to achieve health outcomes for communities.
  • Attend the office 2 days per week and travel to meetings as required.

Note: role subject to a Basic DBS Check.

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience in leading health integration and wellbeing initiatives and partnerships.
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in securing funding and delivering health and wellbeing projects.
  • Understanding of national health strategies and relevant partnerships.
