Overview
Northumberland County Council’s Countryside and Green Spaces Team are looking to recruit an Area Countryside Officer to deal with issues relating to Public Rights of Way and public access in the north of Northumberland.
This position is full time and permanent; working from home arrangements and flexible hours apply.
Interviews will be held on Wednesday 12th August 2026.
Requirements
- Experience in the management of Public Rights of Way and access land
- Excellent map reading skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all weathers
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of people
- Access to your own vehicle (mileage reimbursement is available)
