Avon Wildlife Trust is seeking a Peatland Monitoring Officer to work across the North Somerset Levels and Moors, gathering baseline data and supporting the design of plans to rewet and restore lowland peatland habitat to reduce carbon emissions.
You will collaborate with landowners, farmers and regional specialists, contributing to monitoring programs and reporting findings to inform policy and on-the-ground actions. Hybrid working is available as you gain familiarity with the role.
