Role Summary
A pivotal role at the heart of our HR team - you’ll keep our HR data clean, our processes running smoothly, and our employees supported at every stage of their journey.
Primary Responsibilities
- HR Data & Record Management
- Spending considerable time handling (inputting and updating) accurate people data within our HRIS; Employment Hero
- Managing and organising employee filing using the HRIS including confidential documents such as contracts, letters, Right to Work documents
- Employee Lifecycle Administration
- Managing relevant administration duties for starters, leavers and changes
- Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Supporting payroll administration duties as required
- Managing employee benefits enrolment and updates
- HR Reporting & Analytics
- Running scheduled HRIS reports (headcount, turnover, absence, etc.)
- Auditing data to ensure consistency and accuracy
- HR Policy & Process Support
- Ensuring policies, processes, and handbooks are reviewed in line with their agreed frequency
- Helping implement changes to HR procedures
- Supporting with communicating updates to employees as required
- General HR Administration
- Signposting employees or managers to the right HR information
- Supporting wider HR projects or initiatives (e.g., engagement surveys)
- Support with welcoming visitors to the business, ensuring they’re addressed promptly and relevant internal contact is made aware of arrival
- Supporting administration as required, or directed by line manager
Personal Specification
Qualifications and Training
- Educated to A-level standard (essential)
- IT Literacy (MS Office) (essential)
- CIPD qualification level 3 (desirable)
Experience
- Previous HR experience and familiarity with the employee lifecycle (essential)
- Experience of an HRIS (Employment Hero highly advantageous) (essential)
- Demonstrable experience in a waste management or manufacturing background (desirable)
