Astute and flexible Registered Chartered Accountant wanted to fill in the role of a Financial Manager.
Exposure to the following:
- Revenue forecasting and revenue recognition.
- Profitability and margin reports.
- Monthly management accounts.
- Journal posting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Comprehensive analysis and feedback on individual company, as well as the group's financial performance.
- Cashflow management.
- Support on pitches.
- Business Intelligence reports.
- Support the internal team with the operating system.
- Legal compliance support.
- Review of annual financial statements of the group of companies.
- Understanding of HMRC submissions of company's tax returns and payments.
- Prepare, review, and monitor budgets.
- Audit assistance and compilation of the audit files.
- Ensure that financial records are in line and updated with full IFRS requirements.
- Ad-hoc projects that require a finance lead.
Qualifications and experience:
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Professional communication skills.
- Excel and modelling.
- Creating statutory accounts.
- Ability to delegate and manage the work of others.
- Experience of AP and AR.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA(SA)).
- UK experience will be beneficial.
- Experience running annual audit.
- 2+ years post articles experience in a similar role.
