Location: Cork, Tralee, Limerick, Galway, Dublin.

MWP are looking for a Senior Water Services Engineer to join our growing Water Services Team. MWP is an established multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy with offices in London and throughout Ireland. This role is ideal for a candidate with ten years plus postgraduate experience, who will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package and the opportunity to work on challenging and varied projects within a close-knit team. Role
- Oversee and prepare Preliminary design reports for both private and public clients inclusive of D+B Contracts.
- Prepare detailed tender documents, scope of works, specifications and pricing documents.
- Supervise and conduct contract administration of Water Services projects in the field.
The Successful Candidate Must Have
- Minimum 10+ years post graduate experience in Civil Engineering.
- Attained Chartered status.
- Experience in a wide variety of Water Services Projects including network design, pumping stations, WWTP, rising mains and fire protection projects.
- Experience working with Irish and/or UK water authorities.
- Experience using micro‑drainage, Civil 3D and GIS or similar.
- Knowledge of government/public contracts and others such as NEC and FIDIC is ideally.
- Experience in flood risk management, fluvial hydraulic modelling or hydrology is an advantage.
- Current experience leading, managing, and running Civil engineering design projects, preferably in the consultancy sector.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of current codes of practice and design standards.
- Proactive, good communicator with the ability to lead others in a multi‑disciplinary project team.
- Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Full driver’s licence.
