Malaberg is currently seeking a Video Editor who will edit short and long-form marketing videos to be used online that engage the target audience.

Job Description

Essential experience required:

  • 2-3+ yrs practical video editing experience
  • Understanding and ability to edit motion graphics
  • Understanding of social platforms
  • Ability to sell through video using direct response marketing
  • Well-versed in Final Cut/Adobe Suite
  • Understanding of photoshop and photo editing
  • Dedicated to being the best in your field
  • Documentary or long-form video experience is a bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistent, high-quality video edits for both short and long-form content
  • Creative responsibility and management of projects worked on measured against performance KPIs
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creating new styles and innovating in the editing process with little guidance
  • New format ideas

Expectations:

  • Work closely with and report directly to our post-production director.
  • Content analysis
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management and prioritisation of tasks
  • Communication with copywriters and freelancers
  • Editing of the highest standard
