About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Options Trader to join our market-making team in Singapore, with a focus on Index and Stock Options in the Indian market. You will be responsible for managing a proprietary trading book, generating actionable insights, and using quantitative tools to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimise a proprietary trading book focused on Indian Index and Stock Options.
  • Generate and implement trading ideas using both intuition and data-driven research.
  • Analyse historical trading performance to improve strategies and execution.
  • Monitor and manage risk exposures in real-time.
  • Use quantitative tools to build hypotheses, design experiments, and backtest strategies.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2+ years of systematic trading experience in options (Indian or other liquid Asian market is a plus).
  • Experience of successfully designing and implementing trading strategies through quantitative research and market observation.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science).
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to interpret large datasets.
  • Experience in mathematical/statistical modeling using a range of techniques.
  • Self-starter capable of conducting independent research and driving projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for solving complex problems and delivering measurable results.
