The finance team drives success by managing accounts payable, bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management. They ensure compliance through regulatory reporting and audits while maintaining financial integrity and shaping Mako's strategic financial future.
The Finance Analyst will take ownership of the accounts payable and cost allocation processes, supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring effective control over expenses. The role will involve processing invoices, managing allocations across cost centres and entities, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end reporting. Alongside core responsibilities, the role will focus on improving the efficiency and scalability of finance processes. The successful candidate will be expected to identify inefficiencies, reduce manual rework, and contribute to the automation of workflows, including invoice processing and cost allocations. This role offers exposure to a broad range of finance activities and the opportunity to develop both technical and process improvement skills within a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be involved in:
- Processing supplier invoices, expenses, and credit cards
- Performing reconciliations across banks, suppliers, and balance sheet accounts
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audits
- Liaising with internal teams and suppliers to resolve queries
- Taking ownership of the accounts payable and allocation workflow
- Identifying inefficiencies in invoice processing and cost allocations
- Reducing manual rework and improving process accuracy
- Supporting and implementing automation and process improvements
What we need from you:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive and curious mindset toward improving processes

- Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams
- Comfortable working with data and financial systems
