Position Overview

As an Innovation On-Site Specialist , you will promote, present, and demonstrate Makita products within your territory, focusing on categories such as Industrial Tools, Outdoor Power Equipment, Cordless Tools, and Accessories.

Key Responsibilities

1. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with end-users and distributors.
2. Product Demonstrations: Conduct demonstrations and training sessions to increase product awareness and sales.
3. Reporting: Report on activity, market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
4. Equipment Management: Manage your demonstration kit and sales materials.
5. Business Development: Identify opportunities within your area.
6. Events and Exhibitions: Represent Makita at trade shows and product days.
7. Call Activity and Mileage Reporting: Plan and record your call activities efficiently using the app system.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Proven hands-on experience in tools, construction, or outdoor power equipment.
• Knowledge: Passion for tools and technology; familiarity with industry trends and products (experience with Makita is a plus).
• Customer Focus: Ability to build relationships and identify opportunities.
• Communication: Excellent presentation skills for demos and training.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills and basic IT proficiency.
• Driving License: Full UK driver’s license and willingness to travel, including some weekends and overnight stays.
