We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons in and around the swimming area. This role requires a strong commitment to compliance management and effective communication skills, as well as the ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the swimming area to ensure the safety of all guests.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding any incidents or concerns.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the pool facilities.
Qualifications
- RLSS NPLQ is required.
- Strong compliance management skills to adhere to safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions during emergencies.
- Previous experience as a lifeguard or in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing rescues if required.
- PVG registration is essential for the post, we can arrange it.
