Overview

We have an opportunity available for a Part Time Support Worker to join the team at Sherdley Court based in Prescot, Merseyside L35 4PD.

Salary: £12.60 per hour

– 16 hour contract: Working from Mon to Fri, 5-6 hours per day (some weekend work may be required as and when needed) – this is to cover 1-1 hours escorting people into the community to access appointments and local activities.

Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, you will have the incredible opportunity to embody our core values of kind hearts, tailor-making, dreaming big, having courage, and being ready. Your role will involve providing exceptional care and unwavering support to service users, particularly those with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviour that challenges.

You will provide personal care, administer medication , assist with domestic tasks and supporting residents to access the community. With your kind and compassionate heart, you will create an environment of warmth and care that will make service users feel seen and valued.

As a tailor-made supporter, you will have the opportunity to adjust your approach to each individual\’s unique needs, ensuring they receive the highest level of care possible. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
