As an Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the day-to-day operations. You will be the initial point of contact for carers accessing the service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Your main duties will include triage-based conversations to identify needs, providing up-to-date information and advice to carers, and referring them to Carer Support Workers when appropriate.
  • You will also support the planning and arrangement of peer group, carer activities and training sessions.
  • This role is primarily telephone-based, involving ongoing contact with carers, professionals and partner organisations throughout the day.
  • This includes coordination and management of Emergency Support Plans.
  • Additionally, you will handle general office tasks such as answering phones, dealing with ad-hoc queries, and assisting with rota management.

Qualifications

  • We look for individuals with an eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and the calm professional handling of sensitive and urgent situations.
  • Previous administration experience, strong IT skills, knowledge of Office 365, and excellent telephone skills are essential.
  • Experience within a health and social care setting would be an advantage but is not essential.
